I am currently a MA student in Professional Languages and Intercultural Studies (MAPLIS) at the University of Leeds. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Bucharest as well as a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature. In 2015, thanks to an Erasmus scholarship, I studied Political Anthropology at University Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2. In 2018, I taught French and Romanian Language and Literature to students ranging between 10 and 18 years old.

I have always been passionate about interdisciplinary studies throughout my entire higher education. I wrote my final dissertations on interdisciplinary subjects: ‘The deconstruction of identity in mental maladies on the novels of Gogol and Dostoevsky’ and ‘Psychological research on the empathy of writers’. My previous research was sprinkled with vocal thinkers such as: Michel Foucault, Jacques Lacan, Gilles Deleuze, and Roland Barthes.

Additionally, I write short novels, poetry, and I am interested in translation studies and multilingualism.
